Welcome to the Higher Education Task Force on Inclusion of Students with Intellectual/ Developmental Disabilities.
The Task Force convened at four colleges in Massachusetts to solicit feedback and comments from the public, including administrators, teachers, students, parents, and others about expanding opportunities for students with disabilities to be educated alongside non-disabled peers in colleges and universities.
The Task Force is comprised of 15 members, who collected community feedback about the current status of disability inclusion and prospects for expanded access to students with I/DD. The Task Force will release a report on its findings, as well as legislative recommendations.
The public hearing period of the Task Force has concluded and the Task Force has ended collecting written testimony from the public. The final report to the legislature is currently in the final stages of completion and is due to be released early this spring.
